From rooting cuttings from healthy mother plants to packaging, we use compostable and biodegradable materials as much as we can to show our respect to our mother earth and to our customers.
Biodegradable Rooting Paper & Pouch Bags
These biodegradable rooting shells let roots integrate into the soil without extra effort. It’s a paper based material which naturally degrades overtime after planting.
After cuttings successfully develop sufficient roots, it’s time to ship them to their new homes. We wrap each one with a pouch bag, those bags help rooted cuttings to hold the (soilless) soil together and also prevent them in contact with each other during shipping.
Plant Based Compostable Zip Lock Bag
The next step, we group 1~3 rooted cuttings inside each compostable zip lock bag. Its plant based feature locks the moisture in while allows the air flows during shipping. Rooted cuttings are live plants and need to breath too!
Non Plastic Packaging
We cut the corrugated cardboard roll to size to fit in each shipping box to protect rooted cuttings inside during shipping. Order receipt and growing instruction are inserted, then the box is packed securely and sealed using paper tape.
Lastly….
Not to exaggerate with all the labels. We want to make sure our carrier knows how to best handle the package and our customers are informed when the package arrives.
